Submitted Description: The Production Planner/Scheduler is responsible for creating and maintaining manufacturing work orders and coordinating the production schedule within a machine-shop environment. This position works closely with the Shop Foreman, production departments, and the Quality Department to prioritize work, monitor demand, and help ensure customer orders are completed accurately and on time. The position maintains current and accurate scheduling information in the company’s MRP system and adjusts priorities as production needs change.
